From leather skirts to fur jackets, I’ve picked the 5 top fashion trends to emerge from London Fashion Week.

Leather Skirts
The trend for leather was confirmed by a host of London designers. Tom Ford and Bora Aksu did a more sophisticated pencil skirt while Topshop, Felder Felder, Marios Schwab and Vivienne Westwood offered the more playful, flared skirts.

With winters getting colder, the need to warm the entire body has resulted in the return of mafia-style, full-length coats.

Faux-fur Jackets
Wrapping up in a luxe and ultra-glam, faux fur coats is AW14’s instant glamour hit. Topshop, Temperely London and Christopher Kane showcased soft colours while Paul Smith and Tom Ford depicted a rock ‘n’ roll edge by mixing black and red.
