Salvatore Ferrgamo’s new marketing campaign appeals to most romantics by showcasing elegant outfits and wonderful shoes in an eight episode series titled Walking Stories.
In the wake of “L’Odyssée de Cartier”, which has earned 17 million views on YouTube, fashion films are giving designers a way to collaborate with famous directors, musicians and photographers. Walking Stories boasts a great cast starring Kaya Scodalero and Lauren Hutton.
The plot is catchy and evolves unexpectedly. The characters are taken on a trip around the world, specifically Los Angeles, Florence and Shanghai. The film is made by Luca Guadagnino who merges, with elegant mastery, two concepts in clear contrast: high fashion and romantic comedy. Salvatore’s designs are irresistible classics, light fabrics and the patterns make me want it to be spring ever more.
