Being South African, its not easy adapting to the UK’s bitter winters but it is fun dressing for them. I’m currently obsessed with leather-like leggings. When paired with simple and feminine pieces, it creates the perfect balance of rock meets glam. I paired my leather-like leggings with cream pleated top from ASOS over a black peter pan collar shell top from New Look and a vintage wool jacket.
My return to student life this year seriously put a limit to my shopping sprees but I’ve still managed to add a few great pieces to my wardrobe including this gorgeous Lulu Guinness emerald eye coin purse.
When I’m looking to create a more edgy look, I wear my quilted leather jacket and a statement necklace.
I bought this three-coloured necklace during my last visit to South Africa from Woolworths.
It’s been sad hearing about Barratts closing down its stores but I have taken full advantage of their sales. These black leather ankle boots are super comfortable and durable in wet weather.
When the temperature drops, it’s time to layer. I got this warm and versatile beige coat at Primark and its quickly become a staple addition to many of my winter looks. My neck scarf is from Hugo Boss and my beanie is from River Island.
