Uniqlo makes Christmas jumpers fashionable again

We see it in the movies all the time and it happens in real life too. The sweet grandmother knits a cheesy Christmas jersey  for her grandkids. They pretend to like it but secretly dread wearing the unfashionable item.

This year that’s about to change. The granny jersey is making a comeback. Uniqlo are launching a collection of Christmas sweaters, scarves and jersey jumpers that can be personalised with custom patches.

Keeping par with the trend of high street stores once-off collaborations with well-known designers and artists, Uniqlo have partnered with Andrea Crews, a Parisian artistic collective. The limited edition collection, titled ‘Uniqlo Christmas Dream by Andrea Crews’, offers 10 different styles to choose from. Customers can purchase a custom patch or have a motif embroidered on the item purchased.

If you are looking for a fun personalised gift, this one is pretty great.
